On average you will need between 4000-6000 grafts for a full head hair transplant. This depends on a number of factors that your surgeon will discuss with you.
What is the maximum number of hair grafts?
The maximum number of quality grafts that would leave the head in a healthy manner is roughly 4000 by FUT and 2000 by FUE.
How many grafts are needed for a half head?
